Located in the iconic 425 Park building in New York City, this project encompasses three renovated floors dedicated to fashion design and events. Emphasizing sustainability, the fashion designs focus on reusing and recycling materials to breathe new life into clothing and fabrics. The first floor features a unique runway that rises from the ground, offering an immersive experience for viewers who can sit inside the runway while models showcase the designs around them. Additionally, a versatile space transitions from a cafe to a bar for evening events. This versatile floor design has been meticulously crafted to accommodate various uses and events, enhancing the square footage per capita. On the second floor, a dedicated studio and workshop area is complemented by a changing room with direct access to the runway below, streamlining the fashion show process. The third floor provides a relaxing oasis with a break room and lounging area for designers and attendees. This floor also houses an archive room, preserving materials, clothing, and artifacts from past fashion shows and events, adding a touch of history to this innovative space.
